It might feel like the year has only just started, but we're approaching the the first school break of 2020, so why not escape the city and go somewhere different for this halfterm? Many of the most popular attractions in Bedfordshire go all out for half term and the first one of the year is no exception!
Many of the region’s tourist spots that have been closed for Christmas start launching their new calendar in February to coincide with this time of year, so you can among the first people to experience new galleries, events, exhibits, activities and rides! The area's farm attractions will be preparing for the arrival of the new brood as breeding season commences, you might be lucky enough to get to feed a baby lamb or two! Because of this, it’s a great time to book yourself onto a farm holiday or head to one of the countryside accommodation sites so you can see nature transforming from winter into spring. Luckily, there is an abundance of countryside around the county, so why not take a look at what is on offer in Dunstable or somewhere overlooking the Chilterns? This time of year is when the weather starts to pick up (well, we hope so!) so its the perfect time for venturing out into the wilderness and enjoying the many forest trails and walking routes that can be found around the county.
If that wasn’t enough, because of the influx of visitors during half term, there will be even more to do than usual! From theatre shows to extra events and activities at your favourite attractions and destinations, you’ll find a whole host of things to do in Bedfordshire during half term!
