If you are looking for a last minute deal, take a look at the guesthouses and B&Bs in the county, many of these are independently run and the owners live on site so are able to book out their rooms at a reduced rate to fill them. Accommodation providers that are located near some of the more popular attractions will also have offers on throughout the year, particularly outside the main school holidays, but some also offer free stays for children to encourage families during peak times, so keep your eyes open!

Food offers
There are a range of restaurants, cafes, bars and take aways all around the county, so wherever you are you can be sure of diverse menus and great meals. Many of the food establishments offer everything from 2 for 1 meals, special menus during lunch times or peak tourist times, 3 courses for a set price, free kids meals and even buy one get one free during the week.
