Stevington Windmill is an impressive post mill built in the 18th century and is the only complete windmill left in Bedfordshire. It was constructed around a central post so that it can be turned to face into the wind. The mill operated commercially, mostly grinding cattle feed, until 1939. It was restored in 1951.
Whilst there is currently no access inside, you can take in the delightful views from outside. Free access to visit and view. Entry is via keys which are available from the pubs in the village for a small returnable deposit.
